Cafe Polite in Bad Hindelang

We went hiking in Bad Hindelang in autumn and happened to walk past Cafe Polite on our descent from the mountain. Very tasty food, beautiful premises, great views of the mountains opposite, and very friendly and courteous service. Highly Recommended !

A top address in Bad Hindelang. Very tasty and freshly prepared dishes of the alpine cuisine with products from the region. The Polite team is always helpful, honest and direct, even when the hut is on fire! Scheduled again for the next vacation!

Good price / performance ratio. Nice for children: playground, free-range chickens, rabbits. Dogs are allowed.

Wonderful excursion restaurant. A warm view over Bad Hindelang and the Alps. Service was quick and nice. The sausage salad was very tasty.

Very nice view of Bad Hindelang from the mountain, beer is good, food for mountain hut is okay. If you climb to the Hirschberg along the Hirschbach or do a circular hike from Zillenbach across the forest, this is a very good place to take a break. There is also a farm here: rabbits, geese, cows and chickens. Chickens (like cats) run between the paths between the dining tables and they can be fed.

We enjoyed the wonderful evening atmosphere in Cafe Polite and ate delicious (cheese spaetzle & sausage salad). Then a nice chat with the host 😊. Great service with great pleasure again.

Good day ; two weeks ago we were guests in Cafe Polite: we have never met anything like an unfriendly host! We wanted 4 people to eat there, we lost our appetite and so we went, impossible this behavior towards the guests, that was Cafe Polite !!!! You sit there so nicely, you have a wonderful view you don't have to spoil everything in this bad time!

Very friendly staff, the boss himself comes to the table to see if everything fits. Please do not leave without trying the great Kässpatzen or the excellent Kaiserschmarrn. A small but nice excursion even in bad weather.

Service very loveless. We were served in passing. Either the boss had a bad day or he should rethink his host qualities. In any case, you don't feel welcome. The food, however, was good.

The waitress at the Polite café is very friendly. The food is amazing. (Very good) The Kaiserschmarrn was a poem. The beef roulade was as delicious as mom cooked it. Many thanks.

For us a day trip on the first day of our vacation to "immigrate". And we can only say: Delicious food, great service. Completely successful. Regional cuisine with local ingredients. The portions are just right. And the view is amazing. We will definitely come back during our vacation.

Nice restaurant / cafe with great views of the mountains and the valley. Delicious, appealing food and very friendly service. Within a 20 minute walk from Hindelang. Ideal at any time of the day.
